I have a couple of questions that I would like to raise about your field note:
You wrote "She seemed eager to learn how to play Solitaire, so I explained to her what to do." I would be interested in reading a description of the way you explained Norma how to play the game and how she reacted to your explanations?
It would be useful to elaborate your statement "this game seemed to be clearly out of her "zone of proximal development" I was convinced, she could master it, but she made only very little progress." What other evidence do you have that the game was "out of her ZPD"?
