I agree that it would have been helpful to have spent one day getting orientated on the computers. Besides allowing people to become familiar with using the computers and installing and running programs, it would have given us some opportunity to use the programs ourselves. We each could have reviewed one of the programs for the rest of the class.
I must say though that I am very pleased with how quickly everyone has become accustomed to using the computers and getting the games running! I've taught a lot of people computer skills, from young children to very intelligent adults, and you people are among the easiest and most pleasant to work with.
