This web site entitled homework help is great for students, parents and teachres. It gives help to questions posted within 24 hours and is run by volunteers. They do not complete the work for you, or take exams but help guide you to and answer. It is great for kids to see they can use different resourses to come ot find the answert o things or for students whose parents may not be around to help with homework. Great for parents or teachers who are frustrated with a childs question they may not know the answer to themselves. This site also offers educational games and ways to promote lifelong learning.

This is a lesson about the Sun and nine planets for adults that are mentally retarded. This is a 2 hour lesson that can be broken up into different days. It is not necessary that the entire lesson be completed in one session.
I recommend this lesson because it can be easily adapted to any age and population.

This lesson is for third graders. It will prepare them for the physical fitness tests that are administered every year. The lesson involves 3 basic activities that will prepare the students in the areas of cardiovascular and muscular endurance.
I recommend this lesson for any grade that you feel appropriate. It is a fun way to introduce your students to fitness and get them in shape at the same time.

http://I work at a state facility for profoundly mentally retarded adults. Our active treatment isn't so great but it is difficult to create lesson plans to accomodate the broad range of clients we treat.
