Yes, I am interested in new ways kids can learn, especially hyperactive and attention-deficit kids. I wasn't impressed with schools when I was attending, as I'm sure a lot of kids aren't now. The environment at Barrios Unidos is a perfect example of what a classroom could be like if we weren't restricted to the same programs of education that the U.S. deems necessary. I believe children will learn through any kind interaction, be it forced or collaborated on. Also, I think kids have different paces for absorbing information, so learning together can allow kids to go at their own pace, and maybe not overwhelm them but get them excited to investigate, and learn, more.
