Miguel, its nice to see that your interactions with that young girl allowed her to feel comfortable to open up to you and talk. You asked about your interactions and informal learning. First of all, what do you think informal learning is and how would you answer your own questions of wheather or not your interactions with that young girl could fall into the range of informal learning or not? You also described your past. How about your present. Did you see or have you noticed any learning or maturation from your interactions with the kids at Barrios Unidos? You have to really think about it, because it may be difficult because your interactions are occuring in a context that is very informal. At first you may not notice. Also What are your thoughts on what kids can and cannot learn at the site? Are computer and board games all they are learning? Or do you think they are learning more? If so, what? Lastly, I want to encourage you to elaborate on the themes you bring up in your writing. Ed.
