There are two more modem pools available:
9,600 bps 425-8930
2,400 bps 425-1314
These lines have a potential to have slower modem connections than 14,400 bps, but not very often. As modems in these pools break, CATS is replacing them with 14.4k or 28.8k modems.

If you go this route make sure you pick a provider that has a local access number in Santa Cruz so that you will not be making a long distance call every time you connect.
