Sharon, your field notes were very interesting. When you first worked with Maria, you talked about her expereince of frustration as a result of not bieng able to load the cd rom disk. You also described that at first with Solitaire, she experienced some frustration and some boredome. What do you think of this? Do you think they played a role in her eventually learning how to play Solitare and even winning her first game? Are the processes of frustration and boredome important or not in the way children learn new things? You also said taht you felt as if you moved beyond the adult-learning method and may have actually experienced more of a co-constructed and/or collaborative learning? Whey do you think this occured. Also, do you think that Maria walked away feeling the same way you did? Another issue you brought up was that you got to use your Spanish. VERY GOOD!!! Are there other things that you noticed about yourself? In this sense I'm trying to push you to elaborate on the other ways of learning / teaching you felt you experienced. Overall, nice work Sharon, Ed.
