Hi Valirie--

I was reacting on your consideration whether you did right thing by telling,"knock it off" to the child. I think it is fine because you tried to share with him your problem of being tired as well as showing him that you felt uncomfortable when he was hitting you to get your attention.

However, because you, yourself, do not feel comfortable of saying that you may consider to change your language a bit. My point is that it's important to consider not only child's well being but your own to make a quality relation. What do you think?

You wrote, "I noticed this episode with alex because even when i went home i was thinking about it. i don't know what is right or wrong at b.u. I guess this is a lot how parents feel when raising children?????" From my own experience as a parent, I want to support your guess. Does anybody from the class have kids? If so, what do you think?
