Eugene, It was a good teaching moment for Marlin to learn how to count. While playing Monoploly I also wanted to help her on her reading and comprehensive skills. So when any of us who as playing Monolpoly at the time landed on a Chance or Community Chest spot and drew a card, I asked Marlin to read to read it for or with that person. If she couldn't read it, either I or the other player read the card aloud. After reading the card, I would ask Marlin if she understood what the card meant. If she did, then I'd ask her to tell me what it meant, if she didn't then I'd slowly and carefully explain it to her. She got really excited playing the game. I think it was a good learning experience for both of us! May
