Dwane said.. I think there is a big difference between using computers and playing in real life. With computers, it's easier to cover your mistakes or start again without spending time setting up.

That is a good way to look at it. I guess it does take a long time to set up games, and to have the computer do it for you probably makes up for the time lost in trying to teach a game in virtual reality. I remember playing hours of monopoly on nintendo with my best friend in middle school, because the computer did all the math (very nice).
