I tried to respond to Annie's WAY COOL ARTICLE message and I got the following note. What happened?

Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details.
So, what was that all about? It didn't post my message. And, by the way, I've noticed that its been really slow in contacting the server and posting messages. Is there a way to fix that?
