ess, You wrote a very nice field note. The issues you raised are very important and challenging.

Inviting another child who speaks English and Spanish to play with Norma may provide her different learning opportunities (i.e., learning more English, learning how to play the game) and a "safer" environment. This kind of arrangement may prove to be useful for all participants (including yourself) to engage in meaningful conversation. What do you think?

You mentioned in your field note that Norma came to play with you. Did you invite her to play with you?
