For two Friday's in a row I have seen and worked with children who's energy level was so high that they may have been better off not in the computer room. They also were mostly the older kids. I am wondering if this is because it is Friday and they don't really want to be there or if possibly we are not challenging these older kids enough. So they lose interest fastly. I have found it a lot easier to entertain the younger kids as opposed to the older ones, regardless of the day. I am wondering if we need more challenging activities for the older kids, or if possibly we need to monitor and control their behavior since this past Friday I found this problem to be very disruptive for the rest of us in the learning environment. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
