Most of the kids are not interested in learning how to play a complicated game with lots of instructions, so they play with the simpler games that have lots of interaction but lack interesting content. Then they get bored and end of going through the entire stack of CD games in one session at BU.
I looked at a lot of shareware programs and I had a very difficult time finding ones that were at a medium level of difficultly. However, a class of games that have few rules, yet challenging content, are puzzle type games like Tetris. I have already installed some: EmPipe (like Pipe Dreams), Blocks, Five-in-a-Row, etc. I will try to bring a few more on Wednesday.
