while reading computer-integrated instuction i found a sentence that corilated with our topic on top-down, bottom-up. "While computer-integrated learning of a drill and practice nature may have a place within the overall learning experience of students, it must be secondary to discovery-orientated learning. In the same way, the indeividualized, decontextualized learning activities which typically characterize the drill and practice computer-integrated programs must be secondary to cooperatively-based, contextualized learning experiences." I just wanted to make sure everyone noticed this particular quote because i believe it is a good example of top-down. chow
