Hi Jakob,
You made an excellent observation. It may be, as you speculate, that the Mexican descent children may not be interested in the adventures of white settlers. Perhaps, it may be good idea to link the historical aspects of oregon trial with Mexican interpretations of the historical events of that time. What do you think?
I haven't played oregon trail and I'm not familiar with the goals of the game. Do you (or Jess) think that Mexican descent children need to know "the facts" first before playing the game? Might it be possible to learn "the facts" through playing the game? (and according to whose historical interpretation are the events considered "facts"?) Pablo
