ME:Is speaking spanish okay at BU?

I was just wondering, often times at BU, there are kids who speak very little english. I like to talk to them in spanish, because learning and using spanish is important to me. However, it would probably be helpful to them if a helped them learn english. Do you think it's better that I speak more english and encourage them to do so too? In some ways, I think they have to speak or listen to english all day at school. Maybe they appreciate being spoken to in their own language. I want to give them the message that their language is valuable,too. What do you guys think?
