Hi Valerie--
Nice fieldnote. I have several questions about your thoughtful reflections.
Do you think that being tired switched you to the children-run approach? What kind of teaching approach would you have used if you hadn't been tired? What else do you think contributes in people's switching the teaching approaches? Did you appreciate the children-run approach? What kind of benefits and problems do you see in it? Was it a complete children-run approach or a mixture with some other teaching approaches (if so, please, provide evidence)? Have you noticed you providing indirect guidance to the children?
What benefits do you see in children's development of new game rules? How can we facilitate such practice at BU?
