Sharon, nice observations. Your Monopoly game with Jose' was very robust in its descriptions. I could see you tow playing, him asking you questions, playing banker, you responding and also asking some questions. You emphasized that you learned different ways of approaching the game, while Jose' learned about math, in addition to the game. Do you think he will carry over some of the things he learned in the context at Barrios Unidos to other contexts? For example, do you think he will think about math in terms of money? Do you think he will be more inspired to ask questions? And, how about you? Do you feel that because of this expierneces you are now better equipped to work with young male students? Also, for both of you, what roles do you think they play in terms of long term (i.e., what roles do you think these interactions will have in both your own, the kids, and your classmates future learning experiences and interactions with kids? Nice work Sharon, Ed.
