Sharon, Your experiences with Filogono and Iban were very interesting. First off, do you think he learned more by working with you (i.e., more of an equal, as you put it because your lack of knowledge of the complexities of the Lion King game)?, Or, with Iban, a peer who had a deeper understanding of the game and actually did better than Filogono did? In other words, it seems that you have two contexts that could either facilitate or hinder learning. One, where there is more of an equal peer, discussion is possible, and qustioning / responses is usall. On the other side of the coin, you have a context where a peer knows more than you, where challengeing is the main theme, and where frustration grows? What contexts are most appropriate for learning.
