David, One way we could try to interest the kids in playing Oregon Trail II or any other game for that matter to its completion is to ask them questions as they go along. We could ask questions like, " What happens if you go there?" or " What's the goal of this game?" or "I've never seen or heard of this game before, can I watch as you play it?" Hopefully if we keep asking them questions as they play and act clueless when they play a game, the kids will want to play a game all the way through to show us how to play a game (or they might just play the game to show us up because they know how to play a game and we don't). Hope this helps. May
