I really enjoyeds Taub's article concerning gender issues. The idea of having a girl's and boys day at the computer lab is interesting. It seems that girls and women often excel when they are without the opposite sex. For example, women in all girl schools often do very well. Why do you guys think this is? What is challenging about a co-ed environment? It's hard to tell here in Santa Cruz since the UC female population is quite a bit higher.
