David, very nice experience. In your descriptios with Manuela, Maria, Ana, May, and Mercedes, what I found interesting, based on your descriptions, that you seemed to be the only male and that language is an issue between students and kids. First off, how do you feel that gender, in that situation had an influence in how the kids interacted with everyone else and on learning? Also, although it seems that many of you, like Valerie, May, Mercedes, and Miguel, work throught the language issue, how much do you see language as being a possible inhitor of learning? Lastly, when you were talking about Ana and her drawings, and her being real critical of her work to the point of destroying some of her drawings, how much of aa role do you see the kids' themselves (i.e., their own levels of what they seem as goo / appropriate work , behavior, ways of speaking) plays a role in their own learning and the learning you yourself my experience? Nice work , Ed.
