Mercedes, very interesting. David talked about a similar issue. The issue being language and communicating with the kids. First I want to commend you on making the attempt to communicate with Filogonio by using non-verbal strategies and also just by staying engaged in what seems like a very challenging interactive session. One strategie that I want to recommend, and this may not be easy to do, due to the absence of many kids, but use the kids themselves as resources to benefit yu lerning and the learning of other kids. Call a kid over, that you know has the ability to speak both English and Spanish and ask him or her to kind of serve as a translator. Kids love that. They love to help out and be useful. In this way, I'm sure you could have found what was exactly in Filogonios mindd when he stopped playing Lion King with Annie and then after a while stopped playing with you. Hope this helps, Ed.
