Chrisite, You wrote a great field note!.

In your reflections you mentioned that the three girls were talking about the games they were playing and about other things. Do you remember the other things they were talking about? Were these three girls speaking in English only, spanish, or both?

You wrote "But considering Olivias comments that the computer games are boring and board games (which reminded me a lot of a tea party) are fun, I'm wondering if it is important to encourage the girls to use the computers anyway?" It may be useful to observe whether other girls have the same feeling/attitude toward playing with computers. It may be also useful to reflect on the purposes that computers may have for girls and for boys. Do you think that computers use is more important for boys than for girls?
