I feel for you in all the things you described.
I'd like to know more about how you handled the difficult situation with Mars. You mentioned he was not showing you respecting. How were you able to handle that. What did you say/do? (if anything more than you described in your fn)
Especially for those people who are going into education. There will be times when we face tough situations like working with seemingly uncooperative kids. It'll be helpful to know more about how you were able to handle things, if you feel it was effective, how did Mars react, and what if anything would you do differently if confronted with a similar situation again. Your FN went on to describe your interactions with the othe two boys, what was Mars doing then?
Do you think discontinuing play with a child who is behaving like that is the answer, or does a child behaving like that need more attention?
