Sharon, very nice. Your interactins with Calixa, and particularly were very robust. It was interesting to hear how excited Jose' was when he taught you both the Dots game and marbles. Can you elaborate on the strategies of teaching he use to help you understand how these games were played? Also, in addition to you learning, what do you think Calixa and Jose' learned during your interactions? Also, you asked about personal realtionships and working with the same kids. I agree with you, establishing personal realtinships are important for teaching / learning and it would be nice for you to work with the same kids each time at Barrios Unidos. Unfortunately, however, because of our set up, that you are very familiar with, our goal is just to have you interact with as many kids as possible and if that entails working with the same kids or with new ones each time you go down to BU, thats fine.
