May, nice field notes. It is unfortunate that you and your fellow classmates are getting to know the kids and they are getting to know you and the quarter is ending. This is apart of the work we do, closure. From your descriptions withmaking origami with Maria and Manuela, and Mars and his dominoes, and Alex and Kyle, I didn't get a sense, based on your own perceptions, of what you thought the kids actually learned. I also didn't get a sense of what you yourself had learned. Also, it seems that there were many strategies of learning / guidance that were apparent during your interactions with the kids. I would encourage you to elaborate on these next time and try to communicate to your audiance how one may be more appropriate as compared to another when working in a specific context and child. Overall, good work, Ed.
