Events

I saw Diego on this day for the first time in a month. He had not been back for quite some time and I didn't know why. He is very good with computers and has a lot of enthusiasm so I wondered where he went. I later found out that he was getting in to alot of trouble at school and was losing interest in his class. I don't know what this meant for him, but it meant a lot for me. If he continues to fall behind in school and lose interest, it can put him at high risk for dropping out as well as other delinquent behavior. So this is a concern of mine.

Reflections

I reflect on my own childhood and remember that when I began to lose interest in school is when I began to get in trouble myself. So I hope that this can be prevented for Diego. By the way I also got this concept from my adolescent development class.

Inquiries

I noticed these events because I am concerned about his well being and his future. I really hope he comes back next quarter so that I can focuss a lot more attention on him.
