Clara Benjamen Axelrod

 

child  9 viii. Clara Benjamen Axelrod (#142) was born in Borisov, Belorusia March 8, 1897.

Clara died October 4, 1996 Moscow, Russia, at 99 years of age. Clara's occupation: Proofreader Moscow, Russia, since 1930. She had lived with her sister Tat'yana and Tat'yana's children, and her mother - Nokha-Feige since December 1934 after death Tat'yana's husband - Solomon and helped her to grow up these children. After her main work every evening she had worked at home as a dress-maker. All of them had lived as a family and all money, which she earned she had given to the family.

She served in the military during war time June 22,1941. On October 16 1941, she with her sister - Tat'yana were evacuated from Moscow in Perm and came back in Moscow in April 1943. All her live she dedicated to her nephews - Lev and Jacob.

Clara died October 4, 1996 Moscow, Russia, at 99 years of age. Her body was interred October 7, 1996  Moscow, Russia, Vostryakovo.
